Can I import my resume from LinkedIn?
Yes. Add the free ResumeHog LinkedIn Import extension for desktop Chrome, Brave or Edge, open your own LinkedIn profile and click Capture. It reads the text shown on your profile, including your full work history, education and certifications, and lets you review it before anything is sent to ResumeHog. It never reads your LinkedIn password, cookies or messages. Prefer a PDF? Upload one instead.
What is ResumeHog?
ResumeHog is a resume tailoring app with industry-specific templates covering tech, creative, finance, marketing, healthcare, sciences, skilled trades, and more. Pick your path and let the hog do the heavy lifting.
How many resume templates are there?
We have "paths" instead of templates because using custom instructions field you can virtually make unlimited modifications to the default options, i.e. make all text black and white, exclude or include an additional section, make your portfolio link a hyperlink, etc.
What are "custom instructions"?
A unique feature that sets resumehog apart, using custom instructions you can set the tone (professional, technical, whimsical) of your resume. Control the color scheme and font. Make all text black and white, add your github or portfolio links as hyperlinks, make last minute additions, the possibilities are endless.
Can I edit my resume after it has been generated?
Yes — two ways. You can manually edit any text directly in the generated resume, or use the built-in AI assist to make targeted changes with a prompt (e.g. "rewrite this bullet to sound more senior" or "add a summary section"). No need to re-run a full tailoring pass just to tweak a line.
How do I save my resume locally?
The save button on resumehog.com app actually saves on server. So if you want to save the file locally then click on the print button and it will print your resume as a PDF file, which you can save on your computer.
Is it free?
First two tailoring runs are free (no credit cards required). After that it's USD 35 per month for unlimited tailoring runs.
Is it ATS-friendly?
It is extremely ATS-friendly, without sacrificing beautiful design. Don't take our word for it, try out a resumehog resume on an ATS reader of your choice. Any third party ATS reader. We are not scared. We are extremely confident and porky.

About the Founder
Hello, there. My name is Ishtiaque, but my friends call me Porky. I am also the creator of Resumehog. I arrived in Canada from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in June 2022. While I was a hotshot in KL, nobody cared about my credentials in Toronto. The big names I worked for in Southeast Asia meant nothing in North America. But I still somehow managed to land a job, after months of searching. And in true North American fashion, I was laid off shortly after.
Suddenly I was in a precarious position, either land a job within 6 months, or be on the streets, literally. At that time I did not have resumehog, it was extremely painful to tailor my resume for each role. I was spending hours every day tailoring resumes for jobs I wasn’t even sure were real, and it was soul crushing.
I promised myself as soon as I got back on my feet again I would build something to automate this process. And I did. Using resumehog I was able to land jobs at Bank of Montreal and xAI. I am living proof that it works. I hope it will work for you too.
